Participating in the 2017 ECBC Meet The Builder programs were a great investment of our time and financial resources. We have attend other events that are similar in design, however, Verne Packer’s team exceeded our expectations! The level of engagement from the builders that attended was incredible. It was worth the effort, and we look forward to participating in the 2018 events.

I was first introduced to the Meet The Builder program in May 2017 at the East Coast Builders Conference in Atlanta.  I met with every supplier that signed up for the program.  Unlike other speed dating events where you may not get to see a supplier, this event allows you to talk to all suppliers.  Most recently I attended the Meet The Builder in St Petersburg, Florida, where I also saw every supplier.  Like in May, each meeting produced something tangible--even those suppliers we are not currently using or had planned to use.  Also, and perhaps most important, the facilities and the logistics were first class.

I find the Meet the Builder events to be an efficient way to expand business contacts. It is beneficial for me to learn about suppliers and manufacturers I am unfamiliar with and also provides the opportunity to reconnect with my current vendors for updates on new products & business in general. I find MTB to be very organized, productive, and an excellent use of my time.

Meet The Builder is simply the best money I’ve spent in this industry.  Verne and his team do a great job.

I want to personally thank you for all your efforts you made for a successful Meet The Builder show at the Vinoy in Florida.  I spoke with a number of my peers and they all had the same response.  The venue was very nice and a smaller show provides some one-on-one time you would not get with a larger show.  I personally liked the builder roundtables. It’s good to discuss issues confronting the industry and discuss alternatives in a group.
